All of our members are expected to comply with usual, civilised behaviour and not be racist, sexist, derogatory towards anyone’s gender, sexuality or anything else prejudicial. A member can be barred from the group for such behaviour. If you experience any of these behaviours from someone at a MerseyBears then please contact one of the Admin Team who will review the situation and take appropriate action.
To clarify, #merseybears is social group not a dating app. Members can be temporarily blocked or barred if we feel that you are using the group for this intention. In essence, our events are great way introduce yourself and meet new friends. The admin team currently consists of: Daniel Northover, Terry Lefebure and James Lefebure.
We do not tolerate
- Abusive/Intimidation/Aggressive communication
- Unwanted sexual advances
- Racism/Sexism/Bigotry in any form.
We will ban members from the group temporarily/permanently, without notice, if this behaviour occurs.
If anyone is exposed to behaviour of this type by a member please message us either via the MerseyBears Page or directly to one of the administrators or via our firstname.lastname@example.org address and we will deal with the situation as a matter of urgency.
